Across the nation, fast food workers are planning to strike on Wednesday, April 15 as part of their fight for $15/hour and the right to unionize. Several UB students, along with the Coalition for Economic Justice, are planning a small event at UB in solidarity with this effort. Afterwards, there will all be a rally near South Campus at 3:30pm at Main Street and Niagara Falls Blvd for the main action. Information about Wednesday’s activities can be found on the Facebook page entitled “UB STUDENTS IN SOLIDARITY WITH THE FIGHT FOR $15 ON APRIL 15TH!”.
