Several UB students will be holding a meeting on Wednesday, April 8 to discuss how to support and participate in the upcoming Fight for $15 events planned for April 15. In case you are not familiar with the Fight for $15, it is a campaign to increase pay for fast food workers to $15/hour and win the right to unionize. The April 8 meeting will focus on the ways UB students and faculty can participate in the events planned for April 15. The meeting will be held in the Flag Room of the Student Union (on the 2nd floor) and will start at 5pm. All interested parties are encouraged to attend.
