Currently, New York State has convened a wage board that has the power to raise the minimum wage for fast food workers to $15/hour. This Friday, at City Hall in Buffalo, will be the first public hearing of the wage board. Supporters of raising the wage for fast food workers will be holding a rally and press conference at 9am on Friday, June 5 at Niagara Square. If you can, be sure to show up. Also, if you have time, help is also needed to help make signs for Friday’s event. The sign making will take place on Thursday.
